A Recap of My Weekend

Umm, I don't know how to start off this post with other than I had a great weekend. I know everyone says that. "Hi, how was your weekend?" "Good!" "Okay, see ya!"

But no, my weekend was actually pretty great. My husband is in a 3-week class at the University of Virginia, but came home for the weekend this past weekend. That was great, because having your significant other gone, even for a week is pretty taxing. Granted with how busy things are, especially since this is property tax season time at PVA, the week went by pretty quickly. It's still difficult to sleep alone at night, so having him back for even 2 nights was great.

I have this MAJOR canker sore on my bottom lip. The sore is positioned right near the entry of the smack dab middle of my bottom inner lip and it makes it painfully difficult to eat anything, take a bite of anything (especially anything acidic...whoa nelly) and even drink things with a straw. Anyone who knows me knows that I drink water like I'm going to the chair (skincare is very important and hydration is key to not looking wrinkly and old) and that has made it SO difficult.

In other news, the hubs and I were able to take care of some things PVA has going on for 2020. That was awesome. I'll post more details about it later. However, cutting to the chase, things are very busy. We then went to a movie with the family and his grandmother. You can read my very brief recap on it in the 1917 movie blog post. We then went to this Thai restaurant afterwards for dinner, to which I am pretty sure the waitress was smoking something. The beef noodle soup I got was delicious. Canker sore did not make it easy to slurp up though.

Sunday was pretty relaxing, we went to go take care of a few more PVA things and then we just sort of chilled at home. The hardest part was saying goodbye to the hubs for one more week. Oh man, that was difficult. After he headed back on the road again, I holed up in my room and watched Shane Dawson and Garrett Watts on YouTube (this is not sponsored. Them and Jeffree Star are my favorite YouTubers).

But anyway, it's Tuesday and then tomorrow is the middle of the week. Then it's Friday and hubby comes back again. Do I time-stamp based on when he comes back? Well, for the next two weeks, the answer is yes.

Anyway, happy first month of 2020!

I'm So Behind

No photo for this one, because I have no words to describe how behind I am with my assignments for school. It's already Tuesday and I...
