I'm So Behind

No photo for this one, because I have no words to describe how behind I am with my assignments for school. It's already Tuesday and I have 2 projects that I've been struggling on for my advanced corporate taxation courses that were supposed to be turned in last night.

If you saw my last post, I also am currently battling the flu. My temperature is reducing, but it's still pretty high up there. I've been taking aspirin to lower my temperature, but it's still pretty high.

I have finished and launched another item for Mood Bird. It's up on the shop and available in 2 sizes. It might be by far, my favorite Mood Bird item. I'll write another blog post on the process of designing, sketching, drawing the pattern, cutting, sewing and producing the item later. Just know that it's a labor of love and costs a lot less than Michael Kors or Kate Spade (even though, may she RIP).

We also are in the midst of filing and analysis for PVA. We're working on collaborations with some other CPA firms and law firms and even though it will take a while, I am optimistic that it will pay off beautifully. We're in contact with some brokers, attorneys and CPA's who we're prospectively to partner with and we have our fingers crossed. Right now is a bunch of preparation and writing up proposals, plans and analyses. A LOT of proposals, plans and analyses.

There is not much to say about my personal life, since frankly, running 2 companies is VERY time-consuming. Etsy's seller platform and dashboard aren't user-friendly either (which you would think it would be, right?) and it's a lot of figuring out. Etsy also has how-to pages and FAQ's but otherwise, not a very comprehensive user manual for how to navigate their dashboard. I joined an Etsy seller's support group on Facebook and luckily, the other sellers in the group give a lot of support and useful advice. Luckily, our sales so far are good (we've been in business for about a month and a half and already have 4 sales...yay!), so the fees Etsy charges don't dent us at all.

Anyway, I have to go and finish my reports for school and get a discussion post in. Pray for me, in the meantime!
