Updates on Mood Bird and PVA

So as you know, I now have 2 companies: PVA - Property Value Analysis Inc and Mood Bird Boutique. I've been crazy busy, because I've been juggling school, running the two companies and well, trying to stay healthy and get sleep in between.

PVA - Property Value Analysis Inc is in the middle of reconciliation, for New Hampshire. There's also big changes happening to the company and we're extremely excited. However, this has been extremely busy and I have been in and out of meetings. I think I also might be getting sick, but that is a post for another time.

Mood Bird Boutique has been in existence for 1 month and we already have 4 sales! I'm busy trying to develop more products for the store, and my entire night was spent creating a prototype for another product I want to add to the shop. We exclusively retail through Etsy as of right now, but I am considering expanding us into other options. First and foremost though, I have to continue developing products to stock the store with. It's not a matter of coming up with products, it's producing them quickly enough. I'm definitely trying and I'm so excited to put them up in the shop for sale.

I also joined an Etsy Sellers Support group on Facebook. Everyone there is amazing and I have garnered some extremely helpful advice. I will say that one thing I am learning from Etsy, is that you may be good at something and enjoy producing it in mass quantities, but it's a whole different ballgame to produce them for stock in a shop for people to purchase. I do admit that it's a whole different realm of sewing that I'm still trying to get used to. I'll get there. I do need a new sewing machine though. My fuddy duddy Brother is not doing it the way I would like it to. Hubs purchased it as a gift for my mother-in-law and the sewing machine is specifically designed for embroidery and lightweight projects. It was not and definitely not designed to build handbags and backpacks the way I've been doing so with it. Hand in there, skippy!

Anyway, I'll be in and out trying to get some sleep and squeeze in time, especially for brunch.
